FIRM HISTORY

The law firm of Payne & Blanchard traces its roots back to the firm of Gardere, Porter & DeHay. On April 1, 1979, Gardere, Porter & DeHay merged with Wynne & Jaffe to become Gardere, Wynne, Jaffe & DeHay. On November 1, 1979, six partners and several associates of the original Gardere, Porter & DeHay firm formed the firm of DeHay & Blanchard. On August 15, 1992, the firm changed its name to Payne & Blanchard, L.L.P. In recent years the firm has experienced steady growth to better serve the needs of our clients.
